Our first step is to learn about you, the client. 

We are intensely curious about you and what you want out of your living or workspace.

For renovations, we consider what you love about your home, and want to keep. That mountain view from your kitchen, perhaps. Or a heritage plum tree in your garden, as was the case with one memorable client. Together, we will create a detailed inventory of what must stay and what features of your home and property mean the most to you.

Then we move into step two - what must change.

What are you not getting out of your current space?  Which elements need to be bigger, smaller, more functional or more in line with your personal values and lifestyle? That's where the fun starts - the creative reaction to a unique set of features and requirements.

Our designers will visit you at your home or proposed site and explore the property from every angle - particularly, to analyze how the structure is situated on the site and how views and other advantages might best be enhanced by your architecture.
